We love this Sunday every year! We do not have our regular Sunday morning gathering and instead all meet at 10am at Meijer, fill our grocery carts with goods for the local food pantry and bless their socks off! See you at Meijer at 10am on March 24th.
Let’s have a classic church potluck! You know the kind (or you have had least heard of it!) Everyone brings a big dish to share, (what you would feed your whole family if it was just you) we all try new yummy casseroles, we laugh, we play with each other’s kids, and we get to know more people! See you there! Bring what you love!
Each year, hundreds of international friends gather in Bowling Green, Ohio for an exciting event. International residents who are new to BG may participate in a raffle for free furniture and household items. Then all of our international friends are invited to choose items that have been donated to Global Connections. Thanks to our donors, we are able to give away furniture and household items to our international friends on Saturday, August 25 at 4:00 pm. A meal will be served. And we'll help deliver furniture to your local address.

Intellectual knowledge gained in a class does not always translate into useful life change. The sad fact is that seminaries are packed with men and women who fill their minds with knowledge that never affects how they live, how they think, or even how they feel. I spoke recently with a doctoral candidate in Biblical studies who keeps a list of twelve things they can never forgive their spouse for. How can a person know so much about Jesus and not have His teachings change their world-view?
But the opposite is also true. Churches are packed with men and women who honestly long to have their lives changed by Jesus but don’t understand His teaching or how He offers to change their lives. They are unaware of the story He has written them into, and all too often live their lives trying to squeeze Him down into being an accessory in the story the Enemy has deceived us into believing. Unless they study Jesus and His teachings, how can they become like Him? How can they find the life He designed for them?
Join us as we catch up with one another, enjoy breakfast foods and discuss the BIG PICTURE of the church and how you fit into that as a uniquely gifted woman.
Saturday, May 14th
9am-11am Sam B's Restaurant
Cost is $10. RSVP at the Connect Table at church by this Sunday, May 8th. Contact Sara Martin with any questions: firstname.lastname@example.org
